NASA Student Launch Competition

This year's competition consists of launching the rocket to ~1 mile apogee, safely landing, and then deploying a soil-sampler robot. Check out video of the sub-scale rockets on our Facebook Page!

Stony Brook has had a NASA Student Launch team since 2016. The SBU team is made up of multiple Senior Design projects, meaning underclassmen have not been able to work on it to date. However, you can find more information available on past team's websites.
